Dempster Therapeutic Services, LLC offers therapy services in Chicago and surrounding suburbs for a range of speech and language disorders such as articulation disorders, phonological disorders, stuttering, and expressive and receptive speech and language delays. Its founding speech therapist, Andrzej Lewandowski, MHS, MA, CCC-SLP/L, PEL, Polskojezyczny Logopeda w Chicago® is an Illinois Early Intervention credentialed bilingual (Polish and English-speaking) speech therapy provider and a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has worked in multiple environments ranging from schools to private practices. Having graduated from four universities, Andrzej continues to pursue continuing education opportunities at the Stanford University School of Medicine in order to provide quality, up-to-date services.
All therapists at Dempster works closely with families to help children find the best treatment plan for their needs.

My daughter enjoys working on bettering her speech with him, and he is walking encyclopedia of resources that help you work with your child at home to work synergistically. Even before we started seeing him , he provided us with a lot of material/tools/apps with which we hit the ground running, and are starting to see changes in pronunciation. Z całego serca polecam Pana Andrzeja Lewandowskiego polskiego logopedę z Chicago. Jest wspaniałym, ciepłym człowiekiem, zaangażowanym pedagogiem, ale przede wszystkim bardzo kompetentnym terapeutą, wkłada wiele serca w pracę z dziećmi. Moja czteroletnia córka od kilku miesięcy korzysta z terapii prowadzonych przez Pana Andrzeja i uwielbia te spotkania. P. Andrzej dostosowuje tematykę zajęć do potrzeb i zainteresowań dziecka, na zajęciach jest bardzo duża dynamika, moja córka bez problemu przechodzi z języka angielskiego na polski i odwrotnie, bardzo poprawiła wymowę w najdrobniejszych szczegółach, ponieważ P. Andrzej uważnie słucha i poprawia najdrobniejsze błędy. Na lekcjach panuje fantastyczna atmosfera na zasadzie"bawiąc się, uczymy się", jest to szczególnie ważne w przypadku małych dzieci. Mr. Andrzej Lewandowski is a very nice, experienced and qualified therapist. In the pre-therapy conversation, I told him about my son’s disorder and he gave me more information than the doctor did! Our children’s speech and language development are a huge deal to us, parents of prematurely born twins (born 3 months before the due date). Ever since they were born, we were told they would present with significant delays, let alone meeting their milestones.

Ever since Andrzej became our speech therapist, things have significantly changed for the better. The communication between our twins has drastically improved. Andrzej is unbelievably patient, his approach to little kids is excellent, and his ability to keep the kids on task is great. Each session is different and completely personalized for the particular child. Watching Andrzej interact with our kids is a joy, as they continue to improve every single day. Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend Andrzej as a bilingual (Polish-English) speech language pathologist. His expertise, passion for what he does, and his dedicated work with both kids and their caregivers make him a great asset for all parents whose are concerned about their kid’s speech and language skills.
